The approach

Coaching that flows with the postpartum journey.

01

Meet your body where it's at

We start with a thorough intake: your birth story, current symptoms, training history, and what 'strong' looks and feels like to you.

02

Coordinate with your team

If you're working with a pelvic floor PT, I'll make sure our coaching stays in line with their guidelines so rehab and fitness pull in the same direction. Not seeing one? No problem. It's never a requirement.

03

Train and fuel for the life you have

Progressive movement paired with practical nutrition: strength, pilates, walks, runs and rides in the right doses, alongside eating that supports recovery, energy, and feeding your baby if you're nursing.

1:1 Coaching

One partnership, three modules.

Every client works with me 1:1. We start wherever your body is and go wherever you want to go. You can stay in one module or explore all three. There's no set path.

Module 01

Foundations

A guided runway back into movement and eating well for the mom who doesn't know where to start. Breath, pilates-based work, walking, gentle strength, and a nutrition reset built around recovery and real appetite.

  • Protein, hydration & meal rhythm
  • Breath-led reconnection to your core
  • Transverse abdominal basics
  • Optional PT referral
Module 02

Movement

Consistent, progressive training paired with fuelling that keeps up. Strength, pilates, or time outside (whatever feels right to you) structured around your week, with baby always welcome.

  • Tailored weekly programming
  • Strength, pilates, light cardio mix
  • Fuelling around training & feeding
  • Getting outdoors
Module 03

Performance

For the mom ready to rebuild real capacity, whether that's under the bar, on the trails, or on the bike. Load and nutrition scale together so energy, recovery and symptoms stay in check.

  • Progressive strength blocks
  • Run, ride & impact reintroduction
  • Fuelling for training load & recovery
  • Quarterly reassessment

About

I became a coach because I needed one.

After two pregnancies and a postpartum recovery that didn't look anything like the highlight reel, I went looking for someone who understood both the science and the lived reality of coming back to a body that felt unfamiliar.

Now, as a certified personal trainer and nutrition coach with specialized certifications in women's health and postpartum care, I get to be that coach, meeting you where you are and building you forward, one informed, intentional step at a time.

FAQ

Questions moms ask me most.

Still wondering about something? Bring it to the free consult.

When can I start postpartum coaching?

+

Most begin once they have been cleared by their care provider, often around six weeks postpartum. That said, we can together on fuel and early movement as soon as you feel ready. And on the flipside, there is no expiry date on recovery; whether you are six weeks or six years out, we start with breath, core reconnection and the basics before adding load.

Do I need to see a pelvic floor physio first?

+

No, it is never a requirement. If you are already working with a pelvic floor PT, I coordinate with them so training and rehab pull in the same direction. If you are not, I will flag anything that warrants a referral and we work within safe, symptom-free ranges in the meantime.

Can coaching help with leaking, heaviness or pelvic floor symptoms?

+

Yes. Leaking, heaviness or pressure during exercise are common but not something you have to live with. We build pressure management, breath mechanics and progressive loading so symptoms settle rather than flare, and refer out when a hands-on assessment is the right next step.

Can I train with diastasis recti or abdominal separation?

+

Absolutely. Training is one of the best things for it. We focus on how your core manages load rather than the gap itself, progressing transverse abdominal work, breath-led bracing and functional strength at a pace your tissue can handle.

How is nutrition handled, especially while breastfeeding?

+

Nutrition is built into every module. We cover protein, hydration, meal rhythm and fuelling around training, with extra energy and fluid factored in if you are nursing. No restrictive plans, just practical eating that supports recovery, milk supply and energy.

Is coaching online, and can I bring my baby?

+

Coaching is 1:1 and virtual, so sessions and programming fit around naps, feeds and real life. Baby is always welcome, and workouts are designed to be paused, split or done on the living room floor when that is what the day allows.

How long until I feel like myself again?

+

Most moms notice better core control, less leaking and steadier energy within four to eight weeks of consistent work. Rebuilding real strength and returning to running or lifting typically takes a few months, and we reassess quarterly so progress stays measurable.
